I know what you mean. I have one CP who strives to change things A LOT in his ms. depending on what people say about it, he’ll make remarks like “well, since no one liked such and such, I went back and reworked it, now tell me how you like it.”
Then I have another CP, who might just have it right, that won’t bring her stuff till the first draft is completed, so her own direction and voice and focus will remail prevalent as she’s creating it.
